Assist Brittny & Liam in Their Time of Need

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Scott Andrew Keachie, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who left us on November 25th 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Scott's unwavering strength, infectious humor, and deep love for his family and music will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
Scott was a man of many talents and a heart full of love. His passion for music defined much of his life, from his early days as a proud member of the West High School marching band to his award-winning achievements as a Scottish drummer with the Galloway Highlanders, Utah Pipe Band, and the Salt Lake City Fire Department bagpipe band. He had a rare gift for picking up any instrument and bringing it to life, inspiring music in those around him.
Scott’s love story with his wife Brittny began in the most unexpected of places, during a graveyard shift at Brickyard Harmons. That love blossomed into a marriage on March 11, 2006, followed by their sealing for eternity in the Jordan River Temple on August 1, 2009. Together, they raised their son Liam, who was not just Scott’s pride and joy but also his best friend. Scott and Liam shared a bond filled with laughter, imagination, and adventures, from battling with lightsabers to building Lego masterpieces together.
Scott’s passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of his loved ones, especially Brittny and Liam. As they navigate this profound loss, we aim to ease their financial burden by raising funds to cover Scott's funeral expenses and the medical bills incurred during his battle with cancer.
