Assist Briona in Rebuilding After Car Fire

Hi everybody my name is Briona I’m a 25 year old full time worker I wouldn’t usually ask for help from the community but I’m at a complete loss right now . On May 31st around 6:40pm my car EXPLODED I saved up for months to buy this car I finally was able to buy it march 16th

i paid for new tires and suspension work on April 24th and then I set a appointment to get an inspection done on the 26th of may and it passed inspection.

Today may 31st I got a routine oil change and coolant put in my car when I left it was running just fine I made it home . That was at 4 pm just 2 hours later I went to go DoorDash in olivette I got an order for Taco Bell pulled in the lot and parked while my boyfriend went in to grab the order when he was walking outside with the order literally only took 30 seconds I heard him yelling baby get out the car. My tires were on fire I opened the door to get out and the bottom of the car exploded out and flames went right in my face I thankfully didn’t get any burns just a little red and I ran into Taco Bell to warn employees while my boyfriend was calling 911 my car was engulfed in flames within 2 minutes i escaped what could have been my last day by just 2 minutes . When the investigator and fire /police arrived they told me how they haven’t seen a car explode like this before. i was also told exactly what happened

it was said I had a oil leak leaking onto my muffler and my car was getting hot from that and somehow ignited on what could be a pothole or something in the rode which created a small fire while I was DRIVING yes you heard me right it was already on fire while I was driving when I pulled into Taco Bell and was sitting with the engine on in park the fire got big enough under my tire for my boyfriend to see when he came out. My sensors did not go off it did not let me know my car was overheating or that anything was burning I had no indication of smoke until I was literally getting out my car. Fast forward I get out and we’re waiting on the police and fire departments while watching my accomplishment burn to the ground the fire turned into an electrical fire and within 2 minutes was done

along with my car I lost both my nephew’s new car seats a diaper bag some clothes and groceries that I had in the trunk

unfortunately I also only had liability insurance so my car isn’t covered for this sort of thing. My car being gone has honestly messed up what I have going on. I was in search of a new house due to flooding problems so I was door dashing to make extra income which not had halted my plans I’m back to square one starting from the bottom again

anything will help I just do not have the funds to get another car myself and could really use some support of any kind thank you for listening to my story.
