Assist Brent and Erica During This Hard Time

This is Michelle Thomason, Brent Humphreys' big sis. I'm asking for financial assistance for Brent and his wife Erica. Brent's Glioblastoma brain tumor was discovered on January 26, 2023. He has been a warrior for the 2 years since that diagnosis, fighting with every arsenal at his disposal, the largest of which is his faith in God! He and Erica, along with other members of Brent's family, traveled to Houston, TX to MD Anderson Cancer Center for his initial treatment. Once initial treatment of LITT and biopsies were done, Brent's care transferred to Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis, MO. Brent and Erica moved in with Joe and me for the 6-week period of radiation and chemo, which required daily visits to Siteman. Brent had to go on disability for this time, and Erica took FMLA. Treatment was able to continue at home as his visits were not as frequent after that. All these treatments, and some alternative therapies, still required multiple visits to St. Louis and time off work for both of them. This has caused a significant financial strain. Brent and Erica just learned on January 23, 2025, that Brent has reached the end of traditional viable treatment options and hospice has been recommended. Erica would like to spend this time by her husband's side and not worry about working to continue paying the bills after the last 2 years of financial drain.
