My name is Brandy, and this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. I was recently

divorced, and while I’m doing everything I can to rebuild my life, the transition has left me in a

difficult place financially and emotionally.

I’ve always been someone who handles things on my own, so asking for help is extremely out

of character for me. But right now, I’m doing what I must to create a stable future for myself

and my children.

Why I’m Asking for Help

I recently moved to Florida to restart my life, but I don’t have the funds to move my belongings

from where they are now to my new home. Every time I start to save, something unexpected

happens that sets me back.

Right now, even my car is having issues, and I’ve had to rely on the bus just to get around

until I can afford repairs. I’m working hard, but the expenses of starting over alone have made

things extremely heavy on me.

My goal is simple: get my belongings moved, get my car repaired, and create a stable

environment so my kids can join me.

How the Funds Will Be Used

• Moving truck / transport costs

• Car repairs so I can get to work and stay stable

• Gas, tolls, and moving expenses

• Basic household needs after moving

• Saving for my children to join me in Florida
