Assist Ben's Healing and Recovery

My name is Charles and I am raising money for my son Ben to help with bills and medical expenses. In November of 2024, Ben suffered a collapsed lung and was admitted to the hospital. He spent 2 days in the hospital and was released with a good prognosis and 2 weeks' worth of rest without being able to work.

After the 2 weeks of rest, he went back to work. Shortly after that, Ben experienced a second pneumothorax and spent 5 days in the hospital, which included the insertion of a chest tube to remove the air in his chest cavity. After several X-rays and 5 days of oxygen, the lung had healed and the air in his chest cavity had dissipated. He was released again with a good prognosis and 2 weeks of rest.

After resting and healing up, Ben went back to work. After 2 days of work, Ben's lung collapsed again. We are currently in the hospital working on a plan to get Ben back to full health, which may include surgery and an extended recovery period in which he will be unable to work. In the past 6 weeks, Ben has been able to work only 4 days, and we are unsure of when he will be able to get back to work. Monthly bills and insurance deductibles have been tough to cover, and there are more on the horizon.
