Hello friends and family,

We are reaching out to everyone once again to please help support Bastty and her family as they navigate end-stage colon cancer. We have had many ask us how they can help or if there would be another fundraiser, and even though we would have loved to get all of us together once again, Bastty cannot physically take that on at this time. Which is why we have set up this page.

In January of 2023, Bastty was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer which at the beginning of this year spread to her liver. After a liver resection, there was hope that the worst was behind her, unfortunately, a restaging CT, on July 23 (her birthday), showed that her cancer has returned and in a very aggressive manner. Not only is it in her liver again, but in her spleen, abdominal wall and lymph nodes in her pelvis. She has been given 6 months to live and has now entered Hospice care.

Bastty is a loving mother of 5 and has been married to the love of her life for 23 years. Her goal now is to spend as much time as possible making memories with her family.

Which is why we are reaching out to their community, to help make this possible.

Her husband Dennis and oldest daughter Kasia have applied for FMLA to be available for her as much as they can be, but with taking time off work there is also the worry of bills, rent, food etc. We want to help them as much as we can spend these last months together without having to worry too much about food, rent, bills etc. Which is why we are asking for your help.

Any amount helps and even if you can’t donate, thoughts and prayers sent their way mean just as much.

Bastty lights up a room anytime she enters it. She has always been willing to help those in need without question. As Bastty lives these last months next to her loved ones I know we can all return the kindness that she has shown many of us.

Hola a toda nuestra family y amigos.

Les pedimos a todos que ayuden a apoyar a Bastty y su familia mientras navegan por el cáncer de colon en etapa terminal. Hemos tenido a muchos que nos preguntan como pueden ayudar o si acaso va a ver otra venta para recuardar fondos. Aunque nos hubiera encantado poder juntar a todos de nuevo, en este momento, fisicamente Bastty no puede. Por eso hemos echo esta pagina pra los que gusten ayudar.

En enero de 2023, a Bastty le diagnosticaron cáncer de colon en etapa 3 que a principios de este año se extendió al hígado. Después de una resección hepática, había esperanzas de que lo peor hubiera quedado atrás; desafortunadamente, una tomografía computarizada de reestadificación, en July 23 (su cumplenos), mostró que su cáncer a regresado y de manera muy agresiva. No sólo está nuevamente en el hígado, sino también en el bazo, la pared abdominal y los ganglios linfáticos de la pelvis. Le han dado 6 meses de vida y ha ingresado en cuidados paliativos. Bastty es una amorosa madre de cinco hijos y ha estado casada con el amor de su vida durante 23 años. Su objetivo ahora es pasar el mayor tiempo posible creando recuerdos con su familia. Por el cual estamos pidiendo de su ayuda.

Su esposo Dennis y su hija mayor Kasia han solicitado FMLA para estar con ella lo mas que se pueda. Pero al tomar tiempo fuera del trabajo, también está la preocupación por las facturas, la renta, la comida, etc. Queremos ayudarlos tanto como podamos para pasar estos últimos meses juntos sin tener que preocuparnos demasiado por la comida, la renta, las facturas, etc., y estamos solicitando su ayuda.

Cualquier cantidad ayudara e incluso si no puedes donar, los pensamientos y oraciones que se envían significan lo mismo.

Bastty ilumina una habitación cada vez que entra y siempre ha estado dispuesta a ayudar a los necesitados sin dudarlo. Por mientras Bastty vive estos ultimos meses cerca de sus seres amados se que podemos devolver un poco de la amabilidad que ella a demostrado con muchos de nosotros.
