Assist Ashlee with Cremation Costs for a Beloved

Hello, my name is Ashlee, and I have been a caregiver for the last 9 to 10 years. The person I take care of lives in my home. He has become family to me and my kids. On December 15th, he was in the ER. They did a test on him and found out from his CAT scan that he has stage 4 cancer. It's pancreatic cancer, the worst kind you can get. It has spread to other parts of his body. I am no longer going to be his caregiver. I choose to be family and make his last weeks or months on this earth the best for him. The kids are taking it really hard, but we are scared to lose him. He has helped us grow in many ways, and we have wonderful memories with him. We have hospice coming in to help us. I had to take a leave of absence at this moment because I'm the only person that can actually take care of him full-time. And also, not being his caregiver, I'm not being paid for it any longer. In this last week alone, he has deteriorated rapidly more than we were hoping he would not be. My kids and I would love to have him cremated so we can have his memories with us for a lifetime, and with me not working, I cannot afford to have him cremated. I have been up every hour making sure he is getting his morphine/meds to make sure he is comfortable. I am so scared to lose him, and he was so worried about how I was going to do all of this.
