Hello Family and Friends,
My name is Angel Pace, daughter of Lagolemu Lutali. Everyone called her “Mu.” You would easily recognize her with her big smile. My mother was always kind and would greet everyone with a warm hello. She loved feeding everyone and hearing about your life. On Tuesday, May 27th, my mother departed earth. She was battling Stage 4 Lung Cancer. She informed us just last year around this time. Understanding this and preparing are too realistic for some, and my mother’s love and will to stay alive and be with family often put that conversation on hold. She did not want to talk about her death, out of fear or just not being comfortable with the subject. I want to be honest, that was not discussed. My mother held on to her faith as long as she could. Sadly, just a year later, she is gone. This news is a shock to us and me as her only surviving daughter. Some of our last phone calls were about seeing her grandchildren again, but I knew that wasn’t going to happen.
With my pride aside and a mourning heart, I ask for any money donations to help bury her in California near her firstborn son. I would love any help to fulfill my mother’s wishes.
Lagolemu~ Born in American Samoa, her last years were spent in Nevada. Early years in California where she raised us. Mu was a sweet woman, often told her energy was a light, and her kindness and charismatic charm made it easy to love her. She was an amazing cook, specializing in Samoan food and desserts. Kind, helpful, and a great listener. I will cherish all the memories we’ve had and my mother’s love. She loved old movies, romance, and comedies. Can’t forget her soap opera shows. Enjoyed going to church, family time, and her grandbabies. She is survived by her 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren.
Any bit helps, and we are grateful for all the prayers as well during this difficult time.
Thank you and God Bless.
