Andy and Teresa Steffes are a West Michigan couple that have been together for 41 years. Andy has been a loyal employee of Ace Hardware in Whitehall since 2020.

They have three adult children, nine grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. For decades, they have been reliable to their family and friends, setting aside their time and resources to help their kids and grandkids when times get tough.

Teresa has been on oxygen full-time since 2017 as a result of COPD, which she and Andy both have. Due to changes in insurance, their costs for appointments and prescriptions have skyrocketed overnight. This has made it nearly impossible to afford necessary medications, inhalers, and copays for the doctors and specialists that meet their medical needs.

Their family, who has always been able to rely on them, is now asking for assistance in getting Andy and Teresa the help they need.
