Hi,

My name is Chaya and I am helping a friend of mine collect funds to help her repay her student loans. Originally, her parents had intended to pay the loans, but unforeseen financial circumstances prevented this.

My friend was able to defer payment (with 0% interest) due to the various options provided during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, but now has to continue repaying the loans (interest has resumed).

She does not want to burden her parents, but cannot afford to cover the entire sum herself, as she has a family to support and the costs of living have risen faster than she can cope with, as unfortunately raises don't come as quickly as inflation.

I know her well and she is hard-working and honest, and would never ask for help if she didn't need it. She has not created a GoFundMe for herself, as she does not want to embarrass her parents. I have taken it upon myself to create this account to try to help ease her financial burdens.

Please consider helping this young woman and her family! She is an active member in her community and would love to continue supporting those around her through her work and her own chesed endeavors (while she cannot help others monetarily, she uses all of her talents to help others in any way she can). Please help her in her time of need so she can continue to help others in theirs.
