Assist a Veteran's Family with Funeral Expenses

I have been contacted by a family whose veteran has died. They live in an area where, unfortunately, there isn't much assistance when it comes to funeral expenses.

I have verified they honorably served, and that they truly have a financial need. They have been hit with some pretty large back-to-back expenses.

The funds will get paid straight to the funeral home that has agreed to help.

While this is not normally what Final Salute helps with, I still feel that we should try and help this family in need.

The family has asked to stay anonymous and I am going to respect that. If we raise any funds over, they will also go to the family to help with holiday expenses.
