Helping My Sister Say Goodbye to Her Baby

My heart is broken as I write this.

My sister, her husband, and their little girl are living through something no family should ever have to face — the loss of their baby through miscarriage. What was supposed to be a time of hope and growing love has turned into unimaginable grief.

They had already begun dreaming of their baby’s future — imagining tiny hands, sleepy smiles, and a home full of new memories. Instead, they’re now having to plan a funeral for the child they never got the chance to hold in their arms.

This pain is too big for words, and the weight of it is something they’ll carry forever. And while they try to process this heartbreak, they’re also facing the unexpected burden of funeral costs — something no parent should ever have to think about.
