Assist a Family Facing Unthinkable Loss

Hello! My name is Jodia Larsen. My heart broke as I read the text from a special friend, "my husband suddenly died on Friday...". I couldn't believe it, didn't want to believe, how could this be? He was only 52-years-old! But, it was true. My friend's husband suddenly passed away leaving a wife (my friend and now widow) and their daughter now without a father. He was their "rock". He provided and protected them. He was the sole breadwinner. He was in between jobs which meant they were without health insurance. There are medical needs as well. My friend and her daughter are in a state of shock and are uncertain as to what to do in this horrible situation.

We met through our daughters' classes in school and quickly became friends. I am starting a GoFundMe account to raise money to help care for them in the very difficult days ahead. All funds collected will help this family with funeral expenses, health insurance, medical needs, housing expenses, childcare expenses, and any other needs that may come up.
