Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of The Friends Of Assisi Animal Sanctuary and every donation will help.

I am Marnie and this is my best friend Sophia. We are 11. Edna my dog lived in ASSISI after being treated badly by a previous owner.. She is now happy living with me.

Today we set up a stall and sold dog treats, art and some jewellery that we made. We offered juice and biscuits too. So far we’ve made about £80! We’d like to get more though to help all the helpless animals.

More information about The Friends Of Assisi Animal Sanctuary: Founded in 1997, Assisi Animal Sanctuary is a local independent animal welfare charity based in Northern Ireland. We provide shelter, care, food, veterinary treatment, safety, companionship and ultimately find new loving homes for all the animals that come into our Sanctuary. We operate a No-Kill policy and rescue more than 700 companion animals each year. We care for up to 200 animals in our shelter at any given time and Animal Welfare is paramount to everything we do.
