Family and Friends both near and far,
Each family has has their own unique walk in life and Penn family is no different. What makes theirs a little extra special is Jase man’s new diagnosis.
Jase went into his physician on November 7th for an ear infection(s). During this visit, a heart murmur was detected and they were referred to a pediatric cardiologist in Galveston. The morning of November 8th was their appointment for Jase’s EKG and ECHO and on this moment is when everything turned around for Jase and for JP and Kass. Jase was diagnosed with Partial AVSD. This is where their little heart warrior’s mission begins and will continue the rest of his life with our Father by His side.
On January 26th Jase will be admitted to Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX for open heart surgery where they will patch both holes and stitch his cleft valve. This procedure will require a week long stay at the hospital (2-3days in ICU and 4-5days on the pediatric heart floor.)
Both hardworking and providing endless love and care to their babies, Justin is the sole provider financially for the Penn family, while Kass is stay-at-home with Bristol and Jase. The surgery upcoming in which has been compounded by other procedures such as monthly echocardiograms, x-rays, follow-up visits and more for Jase man have become stressful and financially taxing. Everything is quickly approaching as they try and prepare for his big day, the week long stay in the hospital, 3-4 weeks of post-op healing and restorative care with more follow-ups and weeks of Jp being alongside his wife and his children while utilizing FMLA. As most know during the last couple years they have been chasing a cure and treatment for Kass’s Lyme, which has dwindled their emergency savings significantly. I’ve created this GoFundMe for my daughter and her family knowing anything will help to mitigate any added stress during this crucial time, to allow them to solely focus on their son and family of four. All funds will go towards meals and expenses during the hospital stay, the expense of open-heart surgery for Jase and any related medical expenses, as well as relief for any monthly bills during Justin’s time away from work. My mischief man is fearless and full of life and love for his family and Jesus.
Our family is large, close, strong and so comforted by our God, His love and hope. We are beyond appreciative for all the prayers and support during this time. From the Penn family and us all… Thank you for being a part of Jase Man’s mission!
God Bless
