In early March of 2024 Asrai Garden, a Chicago Floral staple, announced that it would be closing its doors permanently on March 31st. This unexpected closure has devastated the devoted community that surrounds Asrai, including its staff. The prospect of being without reliable income on such short notice is unexpected and scary. The job market is tough, and we are looking for some funds to keep our normal finances afloat until we can find new and steady employment.

Our goal of 12k is a modest covering of one months expenses for 5 full time staff of varying income levels. It is hard to lose community, as any fan of Asrai knows right now - so we are asking you as one final step to say "Thank you for everything" to donate to the workers who made you that unforgettable Valentine's bouquet, helped you pick out that forever ring, or simply were there for a chat while you walked through the store on a hard day.
