On March 23rd 2018 my father in law (Armando) was rushed to the hospital from work, upon arriving at the hospital they discovered he had a massive brain aneurysm that had ruptured. He was rushed into a 6 hour surgery. After surgery we were told that he was in a medically induced coma, and it may take a couple days for him to wake up. We were also told that his chance of survival was very low, the part of the brain that had the aneurysm was the front left side of his brain, and there's a lot of damage. As time went on, he moved and and opened his eyes, giving us hope that he was coming around. While in the hospital he developed pneumonia and a fever, which took a lot out of him. On April 10th 2018 he was moved out of ICU, a few days later he developed a fever which meant he had some type of infection. April 13th 2018 his team of doctors, sat down with us and let us know that there is not much they can do for him at this point and the best option would be hospice. On April 14th 2018 my husband (Mando) , mother in law (Maria) and brother in law (Sebastian) made the hardest decision that they had to make, and decided to put him into hospice care.
As we prepare for this journey that we have ahead of us & much of this is unexpected, we are asking that you please take the time and donate, any amount that you are able to donate, We have medical bills that are starting to come in that we need to cover, along with funeral expenses to cover.
Armando was the main provider for his wife & himself, so losing him is extremely heartbreaking and tragic.
