Asmerom's Mission Trip to Tanzania

Hi everyone!
My name is Asmerom and I am a 4th year medical student planning a mission trip to Tanzania and I need your help!!
The vast majority of people in Tanzania live in rural areas, where adequate sanitation and drinking water remain inaccessible. Communicable diseases are extremely common and all are linked to poverty and insufficient education. Outreach efforts by the Child Family Health International program have been successful in the past and I'm hoping to help continue that trend!
I am spending one month in Arusha, Tanzania where I will be rotating at the regional referral hospital and the rural health centers in the area. During my time rotating, I will be assisting with newborn deliveries, surgery, providing basic care in clinic, and helping to treat HIV/AIDS among other diseases.
Roughly 40% of the proceeds will go directly to the people of Tanzania to help put food on the table, bring vaccines to the area, and improve living conditions, while the rest of the money will go towards helping to pay for the program fee and travel expenses. I am hoping to raise enough money to cover most of the costs by February 15th. Thanks for helping me with this journey and remember any contribution will go a long way!!
