On behalf of the children of Asmel and Jeannethe Matamoros,
It is with a heavy hearts that we notify that Asmel Matamoros and Jeannethe Matamoros both passed. Together after their 32 year marriage they walk together united holding hands to be with God.
Asmel left to El Salvador during the pandemic to meet with his sick mother to say his last good byes. During his stay he tested positive for COVID-19 and after a long fight to come back home to his family he lost his battle on December 17, 2020. At this moment due to legal and COVID-19 restrictions we are still fighting to bring him back home to his family. While waiting for her husband to be back home Jeannethe spent all her time with her children and loved ones supporting her during the most painful month. Exactly one month apart Jeannethe passed peacefully from comfort of her own home to reunite with her husband of 32 years on January 16,2021.
It brings us peace knowing even in afterlife they continue their vows by staying together.
Some of you have reached out and asked how you can help us during this time. Know that your kindness is much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking moments. We kindly ask, if you are able to, to donate funds towards the funeral expenses, as we hope to carry out all of their final wishes.

Con gran pesar notificamos que Asmel Matamoros y Jeannethe Matamoros han fallecido. Juntos, después de 32 años de matrimonio, caminan juntos tomados de la mano para estar con Dios.
Asmel se fue a El Salvador durante la pandemia para reunirse con su madre enferma y darle el último adiós. Durante su estancia dio positivo en la prueba de COVID-19 y después de una larga lucha por volver a casa con su familia, perdió la batalla el 17 de diciembre de 2020. En este momento, debido a las restricciones legales y de COVID-19, seguimos luchando para traerlo de vuelta a casa con su familia. Mientras esperaba que su esposo volviera a casa, Jeannethe pasó todo el tiempo con sus hijos y seres queridos apoyándola durante el mes más doloroso. Exactamente con un mes de diferencia Jeannethe pasó pacíficamente de la comodidad de su propio hogar para reunirse con su Esposo de 32 años el 16 de Enero de 2021.
Nos trae paz saber que incluso en la otra vida continúan sus votos permaneciendo juntos.
Algunos de ustedes se han acercado y han preguntado cómo pueden ayudarnos durante este tiempo. Sepan que su amabilidad es muy apreciada mientras navegamos por estos momentos desgarradores.
Les pedimos, si pueden, que donen fondos para los gastos del funeral, ya que esperamos llevar a cabo todos sus ultimos deseos.
