Hello! My name is Asli Shebe and I am a Tanzanian native. I've lived in the U.S. for a total of 15 years. I moved to Minnesota with my family when I was about a year old, lived there for 9 years and then made our way back to TZ in 2006. I've since returned to the U.S.! I have been living in Savannah, GA since 2014. I met my husband Jeff during my undergrad at SCAD. I have loved living in the U.S. again and would love to become a permanent resident. Jeff and I recently got married and are beginning the greencard process. Legal fees alone are about $725 and the filing fees are $535. I will also have to drive to Charleston for any in-person interviews, or tests which adds an additional cost to the entire process. I really appreciate any help we can get. We just got a car, and are trying to save up for a trip to Tanzania to celebrate our marriage with my family.
