Dear friends,

I am writing to you today with an urgent and heartfelt request to support a truly remarkable individual, Nancy Lyon, who is facing a life-threatening battle with cancer. For decades, Nancy has dedicated her life to the art of mime, to saving at-risk cats from death, and to profoundly impacting others through her work.

In 1995, Nancy changed my life forever. She created and performed a powerful mime piece called "Dark Secrets" at a women's event at the Big Apple Church. This mimodrama tackled challenging themes such as authenticity, envy, and abuse, using masks to "highlight the conformity society demands of women." It was a revelation for me, showing me how I was hiding parts of myself and leading me on a spiritual transformation that completely changed the trajectory of my life.

Nancy is truly the real deal. She studied with the legendary Marcel Marceau and has poured her heart into developing her art and using it to reach people on a deep level. She has many more projects she wants to develop, exploring themes that will continue to impact humanity in significant ways. Beyond her artistic contributions, Nancy has also poured her heart into rescuing, caring for, and re-homing hundreds of cats in need, demonstrating her incredible compassion for all living beings.

Nancy has inspired and impacted countless others, just as she did for me. Now, she needs our help. As she bravely battles life-threatening cancer, the financial burden of living and medical costs is immense. Please consider donating to help her cover these immediate expenses, allowing her to focus on her recovery. Your support will go to groceries, medicine, and living expenses, and will help give Nancy more time on this earth to complete new life-changing works of art and continue her powerful impact on others.
