It is with heaviest heart that we share this story of Mama Cel. 

Last August 2020, she was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer Stage IIB and underwent necessary treatments. During the course of her treatment, they found out that cancer cells already spread on her liver (Stage IV) but with her strong will power to fight for this, giving up is not an option so she underwent another heaps of treatments. 

May 2021, she underwent PET Scan to see if treatments are working and this time we received a great news saying that the cancer cells on her liver was already clear and she can start with radiation therapy for her cervix and it would be the last treatment for her. The whole family was ecstatic upon hearing this news, so she went through the 25 days of radiation therapy with a very optimistic attitude and strong faith that this battle will be over soon. 

Upon completing 25 days of radiation, again another PET Scan was done as a protocol to check if cancer cells are totally gone.

July 19, 2021 the latest PET Scan result of Mama Cel revealed that cancer cells metastasize on her lungs, rib and it was back again on her liver. Meaning that another set of treatments are needed to be done to help her win this battle which needs huge amount of money because it requires the second line of chemotherapy treatment already.
