Asking for your help for a cyclist and friend

Donation protected
My name is Kevin (aka Nino on FB). I am asking everyone who can to donate to help my friend Julie K. raise money for her current and future expenses.

Julie is a former Miss Palm Springs bodybuilding champion, avid in tennis, and other sports during her life, and one that made her happiest, road cycling. On any given Saturday or Sunday, you would see her riding between 45 to 60+ miles on the roads of Chula Vista up to the Ferry Landing on Coronado Island, and for years, every February, she would ride the 50+ miler at the Tour de Palms Springs ride. She supported the Major Taylor Cycling Club of San Diego for the last 2+ years until her diagnosis prevented her from riding.

Julie is one of the kindest and selfless people you could ever meet, and she has now fallen on hard times as a result of:
1.) She broke her right hip and fell
2.) She was then diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast cancer that metastasized to her bones which in turn destroyed her right hip, causing her to fall. She underwent emergency hip replacement as noted in the photo. Unfortunately, there were no prosthetic hips to accommodate her size in stock, so the doctor had to insert one that was too large, so now she has one leg that is 1 and 1/2 longer than the other and will have to deal with that for the rest of her life.
3.) After a scan, she was discovered to have 3 tumors (one in her breast, one at the base of her back, the other in the front of her pelvis
4.) To treat the cancer, she was given radiation and underwent chemotherapy as well
5.) After she completed the chemotherapy, she then suffered a stroke, adversely affecting her motor skills, vision, brain functions, speech, and her sight. It affected her right side as she has lost a lot of mobility in her right leg.
6.) She was going through PT to get her mobility back and then suffered a fall due to her impaired vision in her right eye and then shattered her left femur.

All of this has her left having to be assisted for pretty much everything at this point.

She will more than likely have to retire early (from a 42-year career as an IT Manager for the San Diego Unified School District), causing her to live on a reduced budget/salary, along with needing accommodations for herself so she can function in her home, not to mention the medical bills that have piled up despite her having insurance.

I know that this may be asking a lot, but she needs to have ramps installed on her porch and additionally have a shower installed in her home to accommodate her as well.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE help her in her time of need!

Thank you and God bless.
