Asking for your help after MVD brain surgery.

Hey everyone. As some of you know I recently had a brain surgery procedure called MVD. My neurosurgeon separated two blood vessels from my Trigeminal nerve on the left side of my face/head and placed a spacer in between. This procedure prevents my blood vessels from touching my Trigeminal nerve, causing it to misfire and causing sustained lightening like pain in my lower jaw. I had been dealing with this pain off and on for the last ten years managing with anti seizure meds. It is a progressive disease and mid December 2024 had become unbearable and unmanageable with meds. This surgery was decided on quickly and I did not have time to plan ahead to put money aside for living expenses for my recovery. Because of my pride, it is very hard for me to ask for help but I need to lean on my community at this time. I deeply appreciate and love my community and am grateful to be able to lean on you!
