Recently we took Stella to the vet for what we thought was a UTI. When antibiotics didn't work, we brought her back for a blood test which showed high calcium levels. Soon after those results, her primary vet discovered a mass in her left anal gland and lower lymph node. We quickly scheduled an appointment with a surgeon who confirmed that the mass is cancerous and needs to be removed. We have been assured that Stella will feel more comfortable and normal with the mass removed. After removal, we are considering chemo therapy if that is what her oncologist recommends. The break down of everything that is needed to help our girl is just too much for us to afford realistically. I am still so appreciative of the support we have received for our other girl Roxy. I am in an unfortunate position to ask for help. Whether it be a donation or words of advice from anyone who has gone through this with their fur babies.
