Hi my name is Camila, I was born and raised in Brazil, and I’m currently a Canadian citizen residing in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

With a heavy heart, I reach out to you for your support. On December 28th, my mother has lost her battle against depression, and unexpectedly chose to cross over the rainbow. The pain is unbearable, and my life has been turned upside down.

Residing in Winnipeg, I had to purchase an emergency flight to Brazil on the same day, departing on December 30th. The sudden loss of my mother has brought with it a wave of unexpected expenses. The cost of the emergency flight, combined with the expenses associated with the funeral, documentation, lawyer, and the support I had to provide to my father during this time, has placed a considerable strain on my finances as I’m an only child and we don’t come from a wealthy family.
