Hi, I am Carema. My sister, Barb, is the hardest-working person I know. Since she was 16 years old, she has always been employed. As she raised her children, she sometimes worked two jobs to support her family. Barb fell a couple weeks ago and broke her pelvis. She has osteoporosis and has broken a bone or two a couple times this year.

She is following the doctor’s orders so that she can heal and get around without a walker soon. Her current job requires a lot of walking and the doctor said that would not only be painful but also detrimental to her healing. Because it is a new job, she does not have health insurance.

Her doctors say it will take eight weeks to heal and six months to fully heal her bone. Barb needs living expenses while she heals and then finds new employment. She also needs funds to help pay the bills for a four-day hospital stay and all the services she received there.

It is so hard for Barb to ask for help. So I am asking for a little help to get her through this hard time. If you want, please give what you can comfortably.
