With profound grief I would like to inform you that my mother passed away this year in June. I watched her last breath and she died in my arms. I am now back in New York City and reunited with my dear cat. I want to thank all of you who contributed to this GoFundMe page. I am forever greateful. However my financial ordeal and struggle isn’t over. In India all of the treatment was out of pocket as we don’t have medical insurance like the way we have in USA. I will keep this page active for few more months and I request if you could contribute so that I could pay back the bank loans I took in order to cover my mother’s medical treatment. Hello,

My name is Smrita (a born-again Christian June 16, 2019). I am asking for your prayers and funds for my mother in India, who has Breast Cancer. Her cancer has come back the second time, and it has now spread to the Brain, Lungs, Liver, Abdomen, and Bones. She is at stage 4, and we don't know how much time we have with her. I want to raise funds for her so that we can give her a quality life on this earth. And I need your prayers for the holy spirit to work in her, give her strength, and miraculous healing and open her heart towards Lord Jesus so she can be in Heaven with Lord Jesus.

 

Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, my father has lost tremendous income. Because of that, my mother never disclosed her pain, suffering, and the need for medical help because she didn't want to be a burden to the family. I partly blame myself for not being there for her and helping her with her willpower for the past 14 years as I struggled to remain a legal immigrant in the USA.

 

She has a very giving heart. She took care of her grand daughter all night long for the past 2.5 years and added more stress to her body. We need your prayers and support for Lord Jesus to save her giving heart!

 

Please help my family, who is in great need. We are a family of

Three unmarried sisters/daughters supporting each other,

One 2-year-old niece/grand daughter who recently learned how to give good night kisses,

A father/husband willing to sell his house for his wife's treatment and hold her hand till the end, and

A cat who will be living away from me in the USA while I help my mother in India with her treatment.
