Asking for help with expenses

I came to the Sarasota Memorial Hospital Emergency Room on Thursday night, March 2, 2023 around 10:30pm or so for intense pain in my gallbladder area below my right rib cage and extending around my back. It was very busy that evening. I spoke to a woman who had been waiting 4 hours to be seen by someone. Eventually, I had a number of tests done and it was determined that I needed to have my gallbladder removed ASAP. That surgery happened the following day.
It wasn’t until after the operation that I was told by the operating physician that there were difficulties during the operation stemming from the previous operations I had in that area of my body (diverticulitis, colostomy, incisional hernia, incidental appendectomy, and now gallbladder removal). A JP drain was placed in my body and it was supposed to collect the discharge from the operation, but it wasn’t capturing anything to speak of. On Tuesday morning, March 7th (3 days after surgery) a Nurse Practitioner noticed that there was an opening in the JP drain, preventing it from suctioning anything from my body. She literally and physically showed it to Dr. Kuhlman and Kuhlman denied that anything was wrong with it. The NP was standing behind him and she was shaking her head “NO” as if Kuhlman wasn’t telling me the truth. At the end of this checkup by Kuhlman, he pointed to a spot on my body and asked if there was any pain there. I said, “Yes” and he said, “No, there isn’t.” He later went on to deny saying that but I recorded the session so I wouldn’t forget anything he told me. The doctor suggested that the pain I was feeling was possibly coming from where my blood had pooled, giving me basically a floating “blood clot”.
Since the operation, I have had an additional ultrasound to scope the area as well as a CATscan to look for any other issues. In the meanwhile, my pain is worse than BEFORE I came to the hospital. Dr. Kuhlman said he’s going on vacation for 2 days, so I don’t know which, if any physician, will be caring for me while he’s gone. What I do know is that I’m stuck in Sarasota Memorial for at least 2 more days for Kuhlman’s screwup in using a defective JP drain and his lack of paying close enough attention to even notice there’s a problem.
According to my RN Maggie, there is a bacteria growing inside of me originating from Kuhlman’s screwup and they’re trying to pinpoint the antibiotic to give me the best outcome. As of now, that would be Flagyl.
The pain right now is worse than when I came into the ER for the gallbladder pain.
Today, I get more CAT scan photos and hopefully another JP Drain to help remove this fluid. In the meanwhile, I'm not earning any income and could greatly use a little help from my friends
Much love and gratitude,
Gregg
