Asking for help for our Bobby girl

Hi everyone,

For those who don't know us, my name is Lacy, and my husband is Athan. We have two dogs, Bobby (10 years old) and Yogi (2 years old).

I'm reaching out today to ask for help with unexpected vet bills during a difficult time. Athan and I were recently terminated from our jobs, leaving us both unemployed.

Bobby has been experiencing lameness in her back right leg, and the vets can't determine the cause without X-rays, which we currently can't afford. Watching our best friend in pain is heartbreaking. Bobby used to be very active, loving to run and have fun. She's our best travel companion, and our bestest friend who has been through most challenges of life with us in the past 10 years and we want to be able to provide her with the best care possible for her remaining years. Seeing her struggle to walk (on 3 legs) and having to carry her home most of the time is incredibly difficult for us.

To diagnose the issue, the vets need to X-ray her lumbar sacral spine, pelvis, and stifles. This will help rule out conditions like cancer or identify if it's neurological, nerve damage, sciatica, or possibly just arthritis. The cost for the X-rays alone is $1,000, with additional expenses for follow-up appointments and medication.
