Hi! My name is Donnie Gonzales and I am a self-employed hair stylist in Texas. On October 9, 2023, I was diagnosed with Oral Metastatic Squamous Cell Carcinoma. I am facing a battle ahead with surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. As a self-employed person, I do not have the best insurance, nor do I have things like paid medical leave, paid time off, or the like. I know that I will be facing financial hardships in the coming months, which is why I am starting this fundraiser. I do not have a clue how much money I will end up needing for bills, and the goal amount will most likely change to reflect the needs. I would like to thank everyone for any amount that they feel led to give, as it will be a blessing to me and my family.
