Asking for a Christmas Miracle, please help!

Our family is looking for a Christmas miracle and are asking anyone who is able to help make it a reality. My wife was diagnosed with ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease in November, 2019 at only 31 years of age.

ALS is a terminal disease that attacks the nervous system causing progressive loss of bodily function, and there is currently no cure. Life expectancy can vary but is usually on the lower end of single digit years.

We have 3 children together, Giannah (age 13) Ximena (age 10) and our youngest, Jameson (age 6). Along with the many constant and varying challenges that the disease brings, one of the most difficult is the inability

to use a non-adapted vehicle for even the most simple of outings, since my wife cannot transfer out of her power wheelchair. As a result, much of our time together as a family has been spent at home, and while we are grateful that we can be together, it has been devastating for us all not being

able to enjoy the little time we have left together doing things most people would consider pretty basic. We have looked into purchasing an adapted vehicle to alleviate this burden, however we have not had much luck as even older, used vehicles that

have been adapted tend to run from about $25,000 and up. Recently, we came in contact with someone who owns a wheelchair adapted van that we were able to look at, and meets all the criteria for what we need as a family. The owner is even willing to only charge us for the remainder of what he owes ($11,051),

as the vehicle was for his wife who unfortunately passed recently, and as such is no longer something he needs. That being said, there are many others interested in the van, as it can easily be sold for much more and has left us in a time crunch since I have not been able to go back to work so that I can be home

and make sure my wife is taken care of. That is why we are casting aside our anxieties and putting ourselves out there to make this desperate plea. This vehicle would drastically change our lives, relieving the stress of transportation and give us the ability to enjoy the little time we have left together to the absolute fullest.
