Cancer !!!!!!!

So back in hospital again,

As most of you know me and my family have been put right through it the last few years and I have kept it fairly low key until I’m better each time, but this time I am asking for a little help.

May 2023 I was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer, the treatment included 12 weeks of chemotherapy followed by 5 weeks of radiotherapy traveling to Trelisk everyday.

March 2024 my scans showed some signs of cancer in the scar tissue from my tumour so I had a full rectal removal and permanent stoma.

Xmas 2024 after having back ache for a few weeks went to the drs to find out the scans showed I now have cancer in multiple lymph nodes again , pressing against my spine causing the pain so back for another 12 weeks of chemotherapy starting in January 2025.

Due to the fact I’m self employed and had some money saved to renovate our house the government to this point have nothing to offer than standard £80 a week sick pay which wouldn’t even cover travel costs to the hospital. My wife is also self employed and doing everything she can to stay at work and look after our girls but having to look after me as well.

Good old government !!!!

The rich don’t need help, if you have nothing you get given everything and the people working there asses off to get somewhere in life pay for it all.

Last Saturday night July 2025 I had a hernia in the mesh that was put in place to hold my insides in place trapping my bowel and causing a section to die, this resulted in absolute delirious pain and a trip back to hospital.

Emergency bowel reconstruction will leave me out of work once again and this time I’m not to proud to ask for a little help. If any of you lovely people are able to help or at least share or forward this on it would amazing.
