Asia Study Tour

I am a full-time MBA student who decided to move from DC to the west coast to further my education and pursue a dream.  One of the many reasons I chose the University of Oregon program is their integration of experiential learning with standard classroom learning.

I knew this before, but more so now that modern business is truly global. Through the University I have the unique opportunity to be a part of the "Engaging Asia Study Tour" in September where my cohort will be visiting 3 countries in 14 days (Bangkok, Thailand; Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam; and Shanghai, China).

During this time I will gain first hand knowledge on business practices in these cities as well as learn more about the culture, history, politics, and economy of the region. While in Asia I will have the opportunity to tour companies and factories, participate in marketing events, attend lectures given by executives at leading firms, and network with top executives.

While the school does its best to subsidize the cost for students, I am still required to pay $2,000 to participate (this fee covers airfare and lodging accommodations).

The experience is one with intangible benefits that will give me the exposure I need to be a competitive MBA graduate come June 2020. But, I need your help in making this a reality for me! Donations of any amount are much appreciated.
