Our sister Asia was in a devastating car accident on Normandy Boulevard near Yellow Water Creek — the second crash in that same spot within just 24 hours. After finishing her work shift and heading home, a vehicle struck her head on flipping, and landed directly on top of her car. Moments later, another vehicle struck her from behind, leaving her completely trapped and critically injured.

Asia miraculously survived, but she’s now in an induced coma and on a ventilator, fighting for her life. She suffered two broken legs, two broken arms, multiple broken ribs, a fractured C7 vertebra, and a lacerated spleen. Doctors say she will need a bone graft to rebuild her right leg, where she’s missing a six-inch piece of her femur.

The road ahead is long and uncertain — filled with more surgeries, months of hospitalization, and an intense rehabilitation process before she can even begin to walk again.

Just days before the crash, Asia celebrated her birthday, full of plans for the year ahead. Now, her focus has shifted to something far more difficult — fighting to survive and heal.

Asia is a single mom of three beautiful children, who are her entire world. She’s always been the strong one — the one who shows up for everyone else with love, laughter, and loyalty. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
