Hi! My name is Asia Nared and I am a community theatre practicioner in Omaha, NE. I am raising money to get my vehicle fixed while I go to North Carolina to care for my father after his stroke. I can't get a job while I'm down there because I need to be there with him.

My vehicle is connected to my livelihood and all of the work I need to do. I spend most of my time working in theatre from attending meetings, participating in shows, teaching children and even lugging items such as costumes, lights, set pieces etc. I also work as a homemaker cleaning houses for those in need.

The work I do unfortunately does not cover the cost of fixing my vehicle. I also have not been able to save because I have been using ride-share services so that I could continue working.

I purchased my vehicle three years ago and there was an internal patch job done in the engine by the original owners that the dealership did not find. The patch job has now fallen apart and my only option is to fix the vehicle versus getting a new one.
