Help Nyah Represent Australia at the Asia Pacific Bench Press Championships in Japan!

Hi, my name is Nyah, and I’m a proud Australian powerlifter who has been competing passionately in the sport for the last three years. This July 2025, I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to represent Australia on the world stage in Japan at the Asia Pacific Bench Press Championships.

Powerlifting is a sport I love deeply—it’s given me confidence, purpose, and drive. Over the past three years, I’ve competed in numerous competitions across the country and currently hold several Australian records, including the Junior Bench Press Record at 106.5kg.

Last November, I earned gold at the 2024 Bench Press Nationals in Brisbane, which qualified me for this international event. I’m beyond honoured to wear the green and gold and represent my country in a sport that means everything to me.

However, powerlifting is a self-funded sport, and unfortunately, there is no financial support to help cover the significant travel and competition expenses. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask for any financial assistance you can offer—every dollar helps and will go directly towards travel, accommodation, entry fees, and making this dream possible.
