Greetings,
My name is Asia E Jones and I would like your help to raise £10,000 for Victoria's Smile Foundation (VSF).
VSF is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to helping rural pregnant women in Nigeria with histories of infertility, miscarriages, and stillbirths through pregnancy, birth and beyond.
Raising £10,000 means VSF will be able to provide 21 women with the following:
1. Ante-natal care: including blood work, scans, urinalysis, vitamins, medication etc
2. Emotional Care: including home visits, welfare checks and ensuring each beneficiary is able to cope in pregnancy
3. Financial care: including food supplies, daily essentials, transportation, hospital delivery costs (baby bag, emergency care etc), post-natal care (immunisations, check ups etc)
All these will continue until 6 weeks after birth.
Why Victoria’s Smile Foundation?
I am supporting this foundation because:
1. I believe in the work they are doing and I have been privileged to see the impact it has made in the lives of these women.
2. I believe it’s every woman’s God given right to give birth if that’s what they choose to do. It’s important to me to support women who are less privileged, plagued by lack of access to medical care, lack of education and poverty.
3. I can show my son that you can make positive changes in the world, one person at a time.
Challenge me?
For each £1,000 you help me raise, I will celebrate the milestone by completing a challenge.
My 1st challenge is an 8.6mile walkathon. I will be walking from Stanmore Station to Bond Street Station on the 27th of August.
Follow me @asiaejones on instagram or Facebook for more news on my challenges and further updates.
Thank you for your support and please share.
