Asia's Bench

Asia Wells was 26 when she was killed in a car accident.  She lived and worked in the Machias area, having graduated from the University of Maine at Machias in 2015.  After graduating, Asia was able to pursue her dream of teaching and her students were her passion.  While at college, Asia was a big personality and Pledged the Phi Tau Phi Sorority in the Spring of 2011.  Her story ended too soon, and she is missed by many.  The Phi Tau Phi Sorority is raising funds for a memorial bench to honor their fallen Sister.  Asia's bench will be installed on the University of Maine at Machias campus.
