Asia Galicia's Recovery Support
Donation protected
2020 has been a trying year and this rollercoaster ride doesn’t seem to end....
We were deeply saddened to learn that a member of our extended Credit Karma family has had a particularly difficult few months. Former Recruiting Director, Asia Galicia, suffered from a stroke in July. Asia's husband, Eddie and 3 children, Aily (15), Aiden (13) and baby Jamie (8) have all been her rock during this time.
Asia dedicated close to 4 years to Credit Karma during our hyper growth stage and helped build Credit Karma to the unstoppable team we've become. We know that Asia has impacted and enriched our lives with her compassion and desire to help others. On the Talent Team, she was affectionately known as everyone’s mom.
Aside from building and managing a career, Asia has been the pillar to her huge family. Among all of her successes, being a mother and wife are her greatest achievements. Being away from her family during these past few months has been unbearable. Due to COVID, Asia has been without the presence of her family at her bedside, yet she continues to put in the work towards recovery in hopes to be home and reunited with her family.
At the moment her family is getting more questions than answers. Asia is working hard with her therapy and getting stronger EVERY DAY! There are so many unknowns for her future right now, and all of them come with significant expenses. We are asking for your support to alleviate Asia's family of any financial burdens that come their way. Let's come together to help make life a little easier for Asia and her family so they can focus on her recovery and getting her home.
