Ashton's Smile

Ashton Onorato is 20 years old and is from Bolinas, CA. Over the last ten years he has unfortunately had to move homes and switch schools multiple times due to family complications. Ashton now primarily lives out of his car in order to minimize his commute time to work. The only place he can call home is a small tent on his fathers property in Gualala, CA. This is where he resides during the weekend. Ashton is a carpenter with his father and works full time traveling from job to job throughout Northern California.

Back in July of 2020, Ashton was staying in Tahoe for a construction job and got in a freak bicycle accident, causing him to go over the handlebars. Ashton fell head first onto pavement where he laid unconscious bleeding out for roughly a half an hour. Once he came to, he stumbled back to his father who took him to urgent care. Doctors determined Ashton had broken his nose and his upper jaw as well as the bone structure that surrounds both eyes.

Ashton's bones have now healed, but his front two teeth remain missing. After a visit with a dentist in Sebastopol, he learned that fixing his teeth could cost him anywhere between $1,600 - $6000.
