Ashton’s Cancer Fund

Meet my sister Ashton.

She is truly the best big little sister, aunt and best friend. She has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I have ever met. She has given the shirt off of her back time and time again to help someone else. She has dropped what she was doing more times than I can count to help someone, I don’t know how she gets anything done. She loves everyone with such a genuine care, every encounter makes the sun shine just a little brighter. She has such an infectious laugh. She has more backbone than 90% of the people I have met. She isn’t afraid to tell it how it is. And she is the truest person I will ever meet.

She just started her life in sunny Florida. This was supposed to be her fresh start. We had talked about this move for months. She was so excited to be getting a job at Disney. Her goal was to be sent to Cosmetology school through Disney so she could do the little Princesses and Princes makeup when they went to Disney to make their day just a little more magical.

Ashton started having medical problems shortly after moving to Florida. After multiple ER visits for heavy bleeding, she was sent to a specialist who said she was going to need surgery. After surgery, they did a biopsy on some of the tissue removed. When she went back to get the results, the doctor informed her that the tissue removed was cancerous and she was going to need a full hysterectomy to remove the cancer.

The recovery time is 4-6 weeks. And it is this reason I am asking for help for my sister. She is unable to work after such an invasive and life changing surgery on Feb 13. In order to alleviate a huge stressor for her, I am asking that donations be made to cover bills and some medical expenses in order to help her in her recovery.
