Ashton Needs Top Surgery

Hello, I'm Ashton, and I'm Trans masculine agender. My pronouns are he/him. I have been on testosterone for about 6 years now and I am certain that I want to get top surgery. My insurance doesn’t cover it because it’s seen as cosmetic surgery. I just don't have the funds to do this and survive at the same time. My mental health is not handling this well, but I’m still pushing when I can. I graduated with a Bachelors's degree and I'm working but, it's only paying off so much. My family somewhat supports me but they also don't have the funds to help me. I'm just asking you to share or give a little to help me feel comfortable in my body and be who I really am.

Getting this surgery will help ease my dysphoria, anxiety and help my mental health from dropping constantly. It will allow me to be seen as who I am without getting misgendered. (misgendered: being called "she" instead of "he"). Every time I am misgendered it's like I've taken three steps back from the one step that it took to make me feel sane. I only survive the winter because I can wear baggy clothing to hide my chest. I do bind with a binder sometimes and I wear sports bras but this makes my body hurt constantly. I can't make myself go out of the house if I feel like someone can see my chest. I don't want to bind too often because it can ruin my chances for top surgery. Therefore, I'm trying my hardest to get the funds I need to have this done. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could help me with this process.

The full amount() covers the surgeon, anesthesia, facility fees, one set of garments, pre-and post-op appts., and surgical supplies

It's also at this goal now because I did have other pages up, but time ran out on them. I took what was donated previously and subtracted it from the main goal.
