Ashton Miller

Hello family and friends of Ashton. 
   Today I write the words no person ever wants to write. Today I ask for the loved ones of my nephew, Ashton Miller to help his family with the cost of laying our sweet boy to rest. Due to him being diagnosed at the young age of 14 with Madula Blastoma he was not eligible for life insurance. So many others have had to face this same issue and it's not an easy thing to do. At the innocent age of 14 Ashton was required to put on the full armor of God and was put on the front line to fight this thing we call cancer. Ashton took that challenge and showed courage and love and showed us all how happiness is possible in any situation.
  He has such a gentle heart that he would cry when he would see all the babies and children having to have treatments. He was always willing to let the "newbies" nurses and doctors practice on him. He said in the beginning that he will gladly take the cancer if it would keep someone else from having it.
   He smiled and humbled us all as his beautiful red hair fell out and he smiled and humbled us all as he lost the ability to run, then walk and finally stand. He smiled and humbled us all as the faces of his loving family and friends went from the faces he loves so much to a blur to only a memory in his confused mind.
   As we spend our last days with Ashton it it's hard not to reflect on how many times he has said encouraging things like, "give it to God" and "I'll pray with you".
   Ashton has served his God humbly and graciously and now he is tired and ready to go home and be with his Jesus. He is ready to go ride his skateboard on the streets of gold.
