With a heavy heart I am writing this gofundme campaign on behalf of Melisa & Ashton Kerns & their 4 kids...

Two days before Christmas Ashton Kerns was tragically  hit by a semi leaving his job.  Ashton was ejected from his car and flown by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital. Ashton is listed in critical condition and suffers 3 broken limbs, serious head injury with blood and swelling in the brain.  He has had surgery on his leg as he broke the tibia and fibia in the same leg.
 Ashton is putting up a good fight but on Christmas Eve
it left Melisa with the hardest thing she ever had to do, explain to all four kids what has been happening. Watching the complete look of utter shock to the extreme sadness and tears settle within seconds of being told. As their 4yr old daughter trying to help ease the pains of her older brothers. There's a rough road ahead of them and ask for your support and wishes. We are asking for assistant due to Melisa being out of work for an unknown amount of time, leaving bills unpaid! Any help is appreciated as it will be put to good use. With medical bills, housing bills, kids care and all other unknown expenses like parking and ect.
