On September 6th, a fire broke out in one of the flats at Austen Court, Lanesborough Way, St George’s Grove. Thankfully, the fire was contained to the kitchen, so the damage from the flames was limited. Unfortunately, the aftermath has left two families in a very difficult situation. The water from the sprinklers and fire brigade caused extensive damage to the flats below.

These families are now facing huge challenges, and the support from the housing association has been limited. That’s why this page has been set up, to come together as a community and offer a helping hand.
