Ashton and Jared fire recovery

Donation protected
On April 16, 2020 at 3:00 a.m. Ashton and Jared faced a harrowing experience as they were awakened by a fire in the apartment complex where they lived in South Salt Lake City. Fortunately, they escaped through a window in the middle of the night. However, they fled with nothing but the pajamas they were wearing. All their possessions in the apartment as well as Jared’s car which was in the carport were destroyed.  Unfortunately, there is no insurance to help recover from their loss.

In the chaos of getting out they were unable to find their cat, Theo. It appears he made it out through the window but has not been seen since the fire. They have been searching for him and we are hoping he will be found soon.

Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs, and we hope this fund will help alleviate some of the challenges that they are facing as they try to move on and rebuild their lives.

We are reaching out to ask for help in any way possible. Donations are sought to help fund the purchase of clothing, shoes, furniture, bedding, linens, kitchen ware, food, and a car.

In this uncertain time, we know many people are facing hardships and we are extremely grateful for any donation.
