Background
Hi, I'm Ash Amin, a 25 year old woman from Sydney, Australia.
I have been diagnosed with level 2-3 autism, and I live in a tiny studio apartment with my roommate Eden, who suffers from chronic pain. She can't stand for long, needs a wheelchair, and I would like to help her walk again, however, we need expensive private care such as physiotherapy, pain management, an electric wheelchair and a physical trainer. This is because she very likely has EDS and while she can walk again one day, we need a lot of money to get there.
I have severe sensory issues, I'm very sensitive to light, noise and textures, have a strict routine, and struggle to find any kind of conventional work, despite applying for whatever I could, and even when I do land an interview, I never seem to be a fit. I can't seem to hide my condition well enough. We are living on the edge, in poverty. I'm doing my best in order to keep afloat and feed us and pay our bills and take care of us. The only thing I have to myself is my computer and 2/3rds of a desk, we share a bed and everything.
What I will be raising funds for
I will be using the funds to build a business to build a sustainable source of income to pay for our bills and healthcare expenses. It will be a financial business, which I have a solid plan for. Any help will be deeply appreciated!
