Background
Hello, I'm Ash Amin.
I'm a 25 year old woman with severe autism, which has been diagnosed, from Sydney, Australia. I am currently seeking funding for a securities trading career.

I have spent a large portion of my life trying to improve my financial and career standing, I went to university studying computer science, and dropped out due to focusing on survival and mental health instead. I tried to get a job in the programming field, however, many jobs require prior experience, and my portfolio projects haven't been able to cut it, and to get experience, it tends to require entry to internships that have been gatekept by good grades at university. I have also tried to get any job I possibly could, from admin to fast food, and have consistently been rejected after interviews, presumably because I am noticeably different and cannot help that. I also have hypersensitivity to light, sound, and have strict routines that cannot be changed easily. I struggle a lot socially and don't appear like a normal person no matter how hard I try. Interviewers aren't legally allowed to discriminate based on autism, however, if they simply don't say why I'm not a good fit for them, there are no legal consequences of course.

Current Situation
I am currently living with a friend, in a tiny studio apartment, and I have managed to gain a disability pension, however, I've always wanted to make more of myself, and I spend my pension on supporting the household, with very little left over, but, naturally, most of my friends have physical and mental disabilities, and come from marginalised backgrounds like myself. I want to be able to help them out, pay for their healthcare, and I want to get myself out of this precarious, impoverished situation. I've always wanted to find something to my strengths that serves a greater purpose in life, and I don't want to rely on the government forever, I want to give back to society. I want to get out of poverty and not live on the edge, on the bare minimum.

Business Prospect and Strategy
I've always been naturally curious and passionate about the world, and something that I've always been drawn to was economics and finance, as it describes the motions of how the world operates and how people obtain what they want and need. I have dabbled in small time options trading and stock trading, with varied success, as trading with leverage is inherently risky, and with my tiny amount of capital, it felt like what I had to do in order to make any amount of money that could change my life. However, my current strategy involves accumulating a larger pool of starting capital, and expose it to less risk of loss, in order to get a more guaranteed return, as there is a strong relationship between risk and reward and percentage of gains. Securities tend to fluctuate in price by a few percentage points per trading day, and I hope to ride that wave in order to build myself a career. 1% of $10,000 is $100 for example, which is why if I raise $15,000 in starting capital, I can make an appreciable amount of money per day, hence my fundraiser target goal.

My plan involves not having any strong opinions on any assets or stocks, watching supply and demand, see where demand is being built up, and following the trend of where institutions are funnelling money and pushing prices up, this is called price action trading. I have also learned that it is safer to trade in shorter term holdings, going in and out in the same day instead of risking bad news occuring overnight. I plan on being as safe as possible, and making sure every possible outcome is a more guaranteed small win, instead of a risky big win, and being diligent with money/capital so graciously donated to me, and not risk gambling it. I have dived deep into the study of this field, following academic sources. I will be taking things in a slow and steady manner.

Why trading?
Trading has few barriers to entry, besides starting capital, and your own skills, there's no gatekeepers to entry, which is great for me because I struggle with explaining to someone why they should hire me, due to my condition. I also get a flexible work from home arrangement from it, I plan to trade with my personal brokerage account. I also enjoy competition, challenge, and watching charts, which I can stare at for hours, and deduce what message or vibes I can get from the market. I want to turn it into real wealth and prosperity for myself and those around me. I am overcoming my condition by avoiding situations where I am weak, and focusing on what I am strong at, which means avoiding work that involves a lot of social contact or exposes me to noise or light, and focusing on something analytical and work that can be done at my own pace from home.

Conclusion
I am hoping to raise funds to build real financial freedom and independence, and instead of asking for donations to help with a one off expense, only to ask for help later, I want to build something that can help me forever, and something I can use to pay it forward to others. I will be trading with my personal brokerage account, hoping to make something of myself. Please be part of my story, help me out of a place that so many autistic people find themselves in. I would really appreciate the help!
