Ash's Emergency eye surgery fund
Donation protected
Today my freind Ashlynn Bones went to get a second opinion for her severe eye damage. She visited (Dr. Melchert in Brookfield, IL) and within 2 minutes of him looking at her eye, she was referred to emergency surgery that very next morning. She has a chunk of cornea torn off and floating around from an injury last year, causing her severe pain and vision problems. It was decided that they will have to remove the damaged part of her cornia and the rest of her eye's cornia in later surgeries in an attemt to have the cornia grow back. Sadly this means that she will be blind in one of her eyes.
We found out that Mayfair Eye Specialists does not accept her insurance, and she will be away from work for many days. These surgeries will be wey more more than $5,000.00 but we are trying to atleast get her living expences covered for while she is hospitalized. Anything you can do to help, even a simple prayer means the world to me. Please help me to help my good freind in these troubled times.
Update 8/4/2017
Today Ash had her first surgery, everything looks good so far, and it was thanks to all your donations that we were able to make the first down payment and pay for the medicine that was needed for this. Ash is soldiering on through the pain, sadly they could not gave her pain killers in fear that they would not be able to tell if there was something going wrong with her surgery. She also had a bad case of nausea but they were able to give her medicine for that. So far it looks like everything is going well, her next appointment for a check up is on the 10th.
Thank you all for your help I have no way to put into words how much this means to Ashlynn's family and i for helping their family member and my friend out.
Thank You.
